The Charles Bridge (Czech: Karluv most).

Its construction started in 1357 under the auspices of King Charles IV, and finished in
the beginning of the 15th century.

As the only means of crossing the river Vltava (Moldau) until 1841, the Charles Bridge
was the most important connection between Prague Castle and the city's Old Town and adjacent areas.

Lennon Wall

Once a normal wall, since the 1980s it has been filled with John Lennon-inspired graffiti
and pieces of lyrics from Beatles' songs.

The wall continuously undergoes changes.

Crispy spa wafers in a unique rounded shape filled with a mix of
hazelnuts , cinnamon and sugar. In a box embossed with the Kolonada logo, spa
fountain and seal "Genuine Spa Wafers".

I remember them from visits at the end of the 70s and beginning of the 80s.

Franz Kafka (1883 - 1924)
was a German-language writer of novels and
short stories, regarded by critics as one of the most influential authors
of the 20th century.

Most of his works, such as "Die Verwandlung" ("The Metamorphosis"),
Der Process (The Trial), and Das Schloss (The Castle), are filled with the
themes and archetypes of alienation, physical and psychological brutality,
parent-child conflict, characters on a terrifying quest, labyrinths of
bureaucracy, and mystical transformations.

Kafka was born into a middle-class, German-speaking Jewish family in Prague,
the capital of the Kingdom of Bohemia, then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
